Scott Adair drives the #19 Late Model
Class car. He lives in Santa Fe, TX. His home track is Texas
Thunder Speedway but he can also be found racing at Houston Raceway Park,
Battleground Speedway and Motorama Speedway.
He started racing in 1981 in the 2 cycle
100cc Go Karts at Triple C Raceway as it was something he had wanted to do
for as long as he can remember, plus his Dad raced. His first win
was in 1982 in the Go Kart Class at Triple C Raceway. Career
highlights include 4 Track Championships in Go Karts, 1 Regional
Championship in 1986, 6th in the Nationals in 1988, numerous Feature wins,
Stock cars/Late Models Track Championship in 1996 and numerous Feature
wins, 4 Heat Race wins and 2 Feature wins this year.
The thrill of racing for Scott is going
into the turn at full speed side by side with another car. His most
exciting racing moment was winning his first race.
Scott's racing hero is Bill Elliott.
Of racing, Scott says, "It's a whole lot
of fun but it is a lot of hard work and you have to make a bunch of
sacrifices.
