Gil Faber drives the #121 Modified out of Bells,
Texas. His racing operation is pretty much a one-man show.
Gil started racing in 2001 in a Jr. Mini stock car
at Grayson County Speedway. He started racing because his family has
always been involved in racing, and he wanted a part in it, too.
Gil's first win came in 2005 in a Late Model at
Grayson County.
Among Gil's accomplishments: he was the '09
southern stock champion at Paris Speedway,
The thrill of racing for Gil is that he has always
had a lead foot.
Gil is very proud that he owns his own equipment,
and goes to school, too.
Gil's racing hero is Andy Faber.
Of racing, Gil says: "It aint cheap!"
