Rusty started racing in 2001 in the Hobby Stock Class at Paris Motor Speedway because he'd been on the pit crew for another racer and decided to buy his own car.  His first win was in '02 in the Hobby Class at Paris Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include '01 Track Champion in Hobby Stock Class at Paris Motor Speedway, '02 Paris Motor Speedway Shootout winner in Hobby Stock, '02 and '03 PMS finishing 4th in the Points in Hobby Stock, '05 finished 3rd in the Points at Paris Motor Speedway in Hobby Stock, '06 finished 8th in the Points at PMS in Hobby Stock and '07 Paris Motor Speedway King of the Hill  in Hobby Stock.

The thrill of racing for Rusty is being out on the track with a full class of cars and taking the Green Flag.  His most exciting racing moment was winning Track Championship in '01 at Paris Motor Speedway in Hobby Stock without ever winning a Feature.  He's most proud of being able to come out and have his friends and family cheer him on and making many new friends.

Rusty's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Rusty says, "Racing is a huge adrenaline rush.  One of the best things though is finding out that dirt track racing is one huge family!".
