Michael Rhodes
#80
Michael Rhodes drives the #80 Paris Hobby
Class car. His home track is Paris Motor Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Superbowl Speedway and Road Runner Raceway. He
lives in Paris, TX.
Team members helping Michael are:
David McCleskey, Matt Rhodes, Dad (car owner).
Michael started racing in 2005 in the
Jr. Mini Class at Superbowl Speedway because his Dad started in 1996 and
they've been going ever since...Michael couldn't wait until he got his
chance to try to race. His first win was that in 2005.
Career highlights include 9 wins in 2005, finishing 2nd in the Points at
Paris Motor Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Michael is
waiting on the green flag to drop so you can run into the first turn.
His most exciting racing moment was racing with Kyle Blanton for the
whole season in 2005 without ever hitting, even though they ran very
close many times. He's most proud of being part of Peckerhead
Racing, with Scott Redden.
Michael's racing hero is Red Farmer.
