Trinten Turney Drives the #17 Jr.-Mini out
of Wolfe City, TX. The car owner is Kelly Turney. Trintons crew include
Jason Shive, dad, and Robert Vetter.
Trinton started racing go karts in 2006 at
RedBud Raceway in Merit TX. He started racing because he enjoyed going to
the races and watching his dad and Pa-Pa race. His first win came in 2007
at Circle L Speedway in a stock go kart.
Trinten's racing highlights include: 2008
Animal class track championship at Circle L Speedway, 4 feature wins in
2009 in his first year in a jr.mini at Paris Speedway, and O'Reillys 200
road-course go kart stock champion of 2007.
The thrill of racing for Trinten is going
fast and sliding through the corners and the loud noise of the motor, and
smelling the alcohol exhaust from modifieds.
His most excitng racing moment came at
Paris driving a jr.mini at age 11 and stopping on the front stretch to
recieve his trophy.
Trinten is proud of his race car and he
likes to show it to all his friends. He is also proud to have his Pa-Pa
tow his car to the race track. he is glad Pa=Pa got to see him win.
Trinten's racing hero is sammy Swindell.
Of Racing, Trinten says, "It's fun going
to different tracks. I get to meet new people and see those people who can
really drive good.
