Michael S. Price drives the #22 Southern Modified Class car.  His home track is Thunderbird Speedway but he can also be found racing at Devil's Bowl and Cowtown Speedway.  He lives in Dallas, TX.

Team members helping Michael are:  Jerral Price, Courtney Gruner.  Jerral Price is the car owner.

Michael started racing in 1992 in the Hot Stock Class at North Texas Motor Speedway because it is a family tradition.  His first Feature win was in 2000 in the IMCA Modified Class at Thunderbird Speedway.  Career highlights include winning a one on one contest in '95 in the old Limited Modified class, first Feature win in 2000, finishing this year 2nd in the Points and one Feature win in '08.

The thrill of racing for Michael is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was his 2nd Feature win.  He's most proud of coming back to race this year after not racing for 5 years and finishing 2nd in Points.

Michael's racing hero is Jeff Gordon.

Of racing, Michael says, "It's a lot of fun and hard work.  A lot of times it can be a drag.  You need a lot of time and patience.  When you win it's all worth the effort!".
