Steve drives the #2 Modified car. His home track is Used to be Thunderbird Speedway before it closed, but can also be found racing at Super Bowl Speedway. He lives in Seagoville, TX.

Team members helping Steve are: Derek, Brent, Danno, Albert, Dustin, and Pops Mooney. Lora Byram is the car owner.

Steve started racing in 1994 in the Hot Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because he grew up around racing. His first win was in 1993 in the I-Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway. Career highlights include 2007 missed the first 6 nights of racing, but won 6 features and 10/12 heat races finishing 8th in points.

The thrill of racing for Steve is going fast and spending time with his family at the races. His most exciting moments were every feature win. He is most proud of building his own cars from bumper to bumper and driving them.

Steve's racing heroes are Dustin Mooney and lots of others.
