Marty Stanford races the #59 sprint car out of
McKinney, Texas. He owns the car and has Blaine Shives, Phil St.
Syre, Glenn Polk, & Dennis Bowers help him out.
Marty started racing in 1985 at North Texas
Speedway driving a modified. He captured his first win that same
year at North Texas.
Marty has always loved dirt track racing. He
enjoys meeting people at the track and racing....it's a family
thing.
Marty's most exciting racing moment came with his
first sprint car win at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway in April of 2008.
Marty is most proud that he enjoys racing and all
the other people he has helped in racing through the years.
Marty's racing hero is Steve Kinser.
Of racing, Marty says: "It's all about the people
and the racing. There's nothing like it!"
