Richard Wray drives the #72 Southern Modified Class car.  His home track is 85 Speedway but he can also be found racing at RPM Speedway.  He lives in Dallas, TX.

Team members helping Richard are:  Richard Paul Wray, Brittney Wray, Penny Wray, Eddie Prater, Lisa Thompson, Allen Thompson. 

Richard started racing in 1992 in the Street Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because he was raised around racing.  His first win was in '08 in the Modified Class at 85 Speedway.  Career highlights include finishing 5th in the Points.

The thrill of racing for Richard is to have fun every night and to do well in the race.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won the Feature at 85 Speedway.  He's most proud of finishing in the Top 10 and most every night finishing in the Top 15 three years in a row.

Richard's racing hero is Eddie Prator.
