Skip Luther drives the #73 Southern Modified Class car.  His home track is RPM Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunderbird Speedway.  He lives in Crandall, TX.

Skip started racing in 1983 in the Stock Class car at Thunderbird Speedway after helping another team he decided to drive.  His first win was in '86 in the Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway.  Career highlights include Championships in Mini Stock 1999/2002 and 20+ Feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Skip is all the times at the track.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win with 2 laps to go he made the pass.  He's most proud of the people he has met.

Skip's racing heroes are a lot of the "Old School Drivers".

Of racing, Skip says, "It doesn't get any better than this!".
