Alan Myers drive the #8A sprint car out of Sibley,
Louisiana. Alan owns the car and is helped by Ray, Pat, & Charity
Myers, Jamie Monk, & Buddy Clyde Heard.
Alan started racing in 2000 in a winged modified.
He captured his first win that same year at the Texarkana 67
Speedway. Alan started racing by following his dad's forty year
racing career.
Alan's career highlights include 2004-2006 ALTWM
points champion reserve, 2007 Hard charger award, 2008 ALTWM points
champion, 2009ALTWM reserve points champion, and the 2009 LA state
dirt track championship.
Alan's most exciting racing moment came from
starting dead last at the Ark-La-Tex "Summer Shoot-out" and
finishing first.
Alan is most proud that he earned the hard charger
award & feature wins two times in a single race.
Alan's racing heroes are, his dad, Ray Myers, and
Sammy Swindell.
