 Shane Killingsworth

Shane Killingsworth drives the #9 IMCA Modified Class car.  His home track is RPM Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thunderbird Speedway and Devil's Bowl Speedway.  He lives in Dallas, TX.

Team members helping Shane are:  Dad-Billy Killingsworth, Jo Jo Sonntag,  T C Killingsworth, Thomas Blackwell, Jamie. 

Shane started racing in 1989 in the Hot Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because he is the 3rd generation in his family to race.  His first win was in '90 in the Hot Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway.  Career highlights include '90 Hot Stock Championship at Thunderbird Speedway, '91 Late Model 2nd place in the Points.

The thrill of racing for Shane is the people around him and family.  His most exciting racing moment was winning at Devils Bowl against Clyde Dunn and Danny Caldwell, who are great drivers.  He's most proud that he can afford to still race.
