Chris Shafer drives the #77 Street Stock class car.  His home track is Shady Oak Speedway but he can also be found racing at Texana Raceway.  He lives in Victoria, TX.

Team members helping Chris are:  Mitch Wagner, Cooter Koehne, Butch King. 

Chris started racing in 1992 in the Pure Stock Class at Shady Oaks Speedway after he ran a mechanic race and won.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include his 3rd Texas Grand Points Champion (Texana Raceway in '09).

The thrill of racing for Chris is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won $1,000 night at Texana Raceway on 7/24/10.  He's most proud of racing clean and building a good fan base with the kids.
