#05
Keith Hartman drives the #05 Modified
Class car. His home track is Super Bowl Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Paris Speedway and Thunderbird Speedway. He
lives in Nevada, TX.
Team members helping Keith are:
Ray Ketner - brother-in-law, Steve Stone, Hal Hartman. Hal Hartman
- Father, is the car owner.
Keith started racing in 1981 in the Go
Karts class and in '83 in Street Stocks at Super Bowl Speedway.
His first win was that same year in Street Stock. Career
highlights include finishing 2nd in the Points in Go Karts in '83, won
Trophy Dash at the age of 13, won the North Texas Short Track
Championship at Thunderbird Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Keith is
participating in a sport where his wife and kids can be part of it.
Everyone works hard and they stay close. His most exciting racing
moment was winning the Dirt Track Nationals in Crandal, TX. Big
payday....everybody got double cheeseburgers! HaHa! He's
most proud of in 25 years of racing, only being black flagged twice,
both at Crandal and both deserved. What can he say, you have to
demand a level of respect.
Keith's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt
and A J Foyt.
Of racing, Keith says, "We're not all
rednecks and white trash. The track is a great place to spend time
with family and friends!".
