Colby Smith drives the #01 Modified Class car.  His home track is Devils Bowl Speedway but he can also be found racing at Super Bowl Speedway and Cowtown Speedway.  He lives in Greenville, TX.

Team members helping Colby are:  Steve Smith "Uncle", Granddaddy.  Rick Smith is the car owner.

Colby started racing in 2003 in the Modified Class at Royce City because his Dad always raced.  Colby grew up around racing.  His first win was in '04 in the Modified class at Super Bowl Speedway.  Career highlights include several wins at Devils Bowl Speedway and a few at Super Bowl Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Colby is being able to run at the front at any track he visits.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 2nd for the first time after only racing for a few months....he was "claimed" the same night.

Colby's racing hero is his Dad.
