Tommy started racing in 1964 in the
Stock class at Thunderbird Speedway after building his first race car at
the age of 15. He started driving and hasn't stopped. His
first win was in '65 in the Stock Car class at Thunderbird Speedway.
Career highlights include '79, '80, '81, '82, '85 Hot Stock Track
Champion at Super Bowl Speedway, '87 Hot Stock Track Champion at Super
Bowl Speedway and 21 consecutive Feature wins.
The thrill of racing for Tommy is
winning, having a good race and the competition. His most exciting
racing moment is when he takes the Checkered Flag. He's most proud
of being the Promoter for the Super Bowl Speedway for four years.
Tommy's racing hero is J. L. Gilreath.
