Johnny Welborn drives the #48 Mini Stock Class car.  His home track is Super Bowl Speedway.  He lives in Princeton, TX.

Johnny started racing in 1999 in the Mini Stock Class at North Texas Motor Speedway because he loved racing and got out of karting.  His first win was in 2000 in the Mini Stock Class at North Texas Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include Point lead going into last night of Points and had a flat tire on the 2nd lap of the Feature and lost Championship by 2 Points in '07.

The thrill of racing for Johnny is the sound of a good engine.  His most exciting racing moment was winning at Boyd Speedway.  He's most proud of just having gone through the years and making lots of friends.

Johnny's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
