Tommy Roberts drives the #65 Street Stock
Class car. His home track is Super Bowl Speedway.
Tommy started racing in 1965 in the
Novice Class at North Star Speedway because his Uncles ran at Devil's
Bowl in Flat Head days. Career highlights include 7 Track
Championships at Super Bowl Speedway as the driver, 3 Track Championship
as an owner, 19 Feature wins in a row in '88, over 300 Feature wins
The thrill of racing for Tommy is
relaxing. You get so relaxed you might run past the Checkered Flag
and just keep going! His most exciting racing moment is his next
race. He's most proud of and enjoyed running the Race Track but it
was iffy. Have to make money with a weekly deal.
Tommy's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt
Jr., and Gilreth, first guy with a Chevy V8.
Of racing, Tommy says, "Wish people
would support it more. If every car could get 15 people to come to
the race, we would be ok!".
