Shawn Gammage

Shawn Gammage drives the #88 Modified
Class car. His home track is Super Bowl Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Ark-La-Tex Speedway. He lives
in Greenville, TX.

Shawn started racing in 1992 in the Go
Karts Class at Mesquite Speedway because he felt the need for speed. His first win
was that same year and in '97 in the Street Stock Class. Career highlights include winning the first Modified
race he ever ran at Thunderbird Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Shawn is
passing cars "I don't want to do anything else." His most exciting racing moment was winning first
Stock Car race ever. He's most proud of his sons. He hopes
his oldest boy, Eli, will start in '12.
Shawn's racing hero is Billy Brierton.
Of racing, Shawn says, "It takes a lot
more time than you think! Its a lot of work. "
