Nick Deal drives the #55D Modified Class Car. His home track is I-80 Speedway, but can also be found racing at Shelby County Speedway.

Team members helping Nick are: Tim Deal, Nick Hermsen, and Kelly Scott. Tim Deal is the car owner.

Nick started racing in 2007 in the ProAm Class car at I-80 Speedway because he went to the races and it looked like fun so he tried it. His first win was that same year. Career highlights include Rookie of the year, Rising Star Award for Pro Stock Division, 7th in points in Pro Stock, and 3 wins his first year racing.

The thrill of racing for Nick is he can go as fast as he wants legally. His most exciting moment was coming around turn four when he was going to win his 1st Feature. He is most proud of how much he has improved every time he goes out on the track.

Nick's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Nick says, "It is great to get young people into, it keeps them out of trouble. You learn a lot about cars and driving. You learn to respect other peoples cars, and ideas!"
