Shane Campbell drives the #79 Modified Class car.  His home track is 81 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Humboldt Speedway and Lakeside Speedway.  He lives in Wichita, KS.

Team members helping Shane are:  Steve Fisher, Betty Wares, Carla Shipe, Brian Franz, Bill Stahl, Kevin Brenneman, Jesse Garnica, Derek Schrag, Jimmy Scrivner.  Chris Campbell and Chrissy Brenneman are the car owners.

Shane started racing in 2004 in the Kart Class at Worden Park Speedway because a friend was karting and I watched and helped them in the pit and decided to try it.  His first win was in '05 in the Kart Class at Worden Park Speedway.  Career highlights include winning the Track Championship at 81 Speedway in '09, Rookie year in Modified, Top 5 finish in '10 AAA Modified at 81 Speedway, Kart Championship at Park City Raceway, Top 3 finish in Micro Sprint in '05, many Feature wins and Top 5's and Top 10's.

The thrill of racing for Shane is going fast!  Competition - him against everybody else and one 1 winner.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the first Modified race, season opener at 81 Speedway in '09, then winning the Championship at end of '09.  He's most proud of just being able to stay consistent Top 5, Top 10 all of the time.

Shane's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Shane says, "You gotta be in it to win it all the time, every race, heart and soul.  Let God be your co-pilot and He will lead you to the Checkered Flag!".
