Trey Mitchell drives the #047 Modified Class car.  His home track is Thunder Hill Raceway.  He lives in Wimberley, TX.

Team members helping Trey are:  Bill & Beth Mitchell, Casey Shroyer, Tyler Miska, Ryan & Cullen Harrison, Russell Vickery.  Trey Mitchell Racing LLC is the car owner.

Trey started racing in 2004 in the Allison Legacy Class  which toured Texas because his Dad and he had been fans for a while and decided it was time to try it.  His first win was in '06 in the Modified Class at San Antonio Speedway.  Career highlights include '04 Most Improved Driver in Allison Legacy Series, '05 Rookie of the Year in Allison Legacy Series, '06 USRA Modified Series Rookie of the Year.

The thrill of racing for Trey is the people involved in the sport are second to none.  His most exciting racing moment was getting his first win at San Antonio Speedway with all his family there.  He's most proud of his ease at adjusting to a new car or track. 

Trey's racing hero is Colt James, one of the best drivers he knows on one of the lowest budgets.
