Jesse Salazar drives the #18 TSRS Class car.  His home track is Thunder Hill Raceway.  He lives in San Antonio, TX.

Team members helping Jesse are:  Tom Smith and family, Wally Gorice and family.  The Salazar family owns Jesse's car.

Jesse started racing in 1999 in the Charger Class at San Antonio Speedway because of his Father and Godfather's racing history.  His first win was in '01 in the Charger Class at San Antonio Speedway.  Career highlights include 2001 Track Champion Charger Class at SAS, '04 Drive for Diversity Program Motor Mile Speedway, '04 finished 3rd in NASCAR Late Model SAS.

The thrill of racing for Jesse is the competition and the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was going to Texas World Speedway running 2.9 mile Road Course and finishing 2nd!  He's most proud of his family.  This team is family owned and run.

Jesse's racing hero is his Father and Godfather.
