Bobby New drives the #1 TSRS Class car.
His home track is Thunder Hill Raceway but he can also be found racing
at Houston Raceway Park. He lives in Austin, TX.

Bobby started racing in 1965 in the
Hobby Stock Class at Longhorn Speedway because his Dad had a race car.
His first win was in 1966 in the Hobby Stock Class at Longhorn Speedway.
Career highlights include Longhorn Speedway several Hobby Stock, Super,
Late Model wins, Pan American San Antonio, won 125 lap race in Corpus
Christy in mid '80's, won 100 lap race at Midland Odessa in mid '80's.
The thrill of racing for Bobby is
watching the Grandkids of some of the drivers he used to race against
and winning. His most exciting racing moment was when he hit the
wall at Texas Speedway in College Station. He's most proud of all
the fans who grew up with him and the many friends he's made at all the
race tracks.
Bobby's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Bobby says, "The excitement
of the wheel to wheel competition and the thrill of running as fast as
you can heading for a turn and hoping you can slow down quick enough and
all the good people you meet and all the different drivers you meet!".
