Jake Kruger drives the #71 Lone Star Legacy's Class car.  His home track is Thunder Hill Raceway, but he can also be found racing at Corpus Christi Speedway.  He lives in Bastrop, TX.

Team members helping Jake are:  Bill Kruger, Deb Kruger, Nikki Kruger, John Martin.  Bill Kruger is the car owner.

Jake started racing in 1999 in the Quarter Midgets Class at Austin Speedway because his Dad raced.  His first win was in 2005 in the Bandolero Class at Texas Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include Senior Stock Champion in '03 in Quarter Midgets, 4th in the Nation in Bandoleros in '05, first win at Thunder Hill Raceway in '06, Lone Star Legacys, '06 Rookie of the Year Lone Star Legacys.

The thrill of racing for Jake is being able to race as much as possible.  His most exciting racing moment was when he won his first Legacy race on July 15, 2006.  He's most proud of the many races that he has won and finishing 4th in the Nation in '05.

Jake's racing hero is his Dad, Bill Kruger.
