Stan Mason drives the #283 Limited Modified Class car.  His home track is Grand Prairie Speedway and Thunderbird Speedway.  He lives in Lake Dallas, TX.

Team members helping Stan are:  Matt & Randy Holt, Mike & Matt Nabors (sold him the car and gave Stan real good set up info and advice) and Patty.

Stan started racing in 2007 in the Mini Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because it's something he's always wanted to do.  Career highlights include finishing his first Feature race.

The thrill of racing for Stan is just being there.  His most exciting racing moment was the day he bought his Mini Stock car.....then all the work began.  He's most proud that he's able to go out and do it.  It's something he feels fortunate to be able to go out and do and don't that for granted.

Stan's racing hero is Ron Berry (from Stan's childhood days in Colorado).

Of racing, Stan says, "It's a lot of work to be able to go out and do it, but it's worth the effort!".
