Mike drives the #28N Sims Modified Class car. His home track is Thunderbird Speedway. He lives in Kemp, TX.

Mike started racing in 1987 in the Street Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because he loved the sport. His first win was in 1991 in the Street Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway. Career highlights include 2003 and 2005 Track Championships, and 2005 National SIMS Championship.

The thrill of racing for Mike is his family. His most exciting moments are watching his 2 sons race. He is most proud of his championships and being able to still race.

Mike's racing heroes are Tony Stewart, and Dale Earnhardt.
