Dustin Mooney drives the #5 Jr. Mini Stock Class car.  His home track is Thunderbird Speedway but he can also be found racing in the Young Guns Series.  He lives in Mesquite, TX.

Team members helping Dustin are:  G-Pa, Pops Mooney, Dad - Brent, Steve, Danno and Derek.  Pops Mooney is the car owner.

Dustin started racing in 2006 in the Jr. Mini Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway because he grew up around it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include '06 Jr. Mini Stock Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for Dustin is just having fun.  His most exciting racing moment was being Track Champion in '06.  He's most proud of winning the Track Championship his first year out.

Dustin's racing heroes are Steve Byram and Bobby Ruffin.

Of racing, Dustin says, "It's a family affair and it's expensive!".
