Steve Ward drives the #X Modified Class car.  His home track is 67 Speedway.  He lives in Texarkana, AR.

Team members helping Steve are:  B. Ambler, Gary Smith, Robert Sumerell, Terry Lee Tussey. 

Steve started racing in 1986 in the Bomber Class at Stateline Speedway because he transitioned from 3 Wheeler racing and loved the speed.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Talledega '98 Ice Bowl win, Kansas City Speedway win, North/South Challenge win in 2000, Volusia County Speedweeks win, Tyler Modified Champion in '95, Waco TX IMCA Southern Shootout win, 67 Speedway Track Champion 3 years in a row '97, '98 and '99.

The thrill of racing for Steve is winning!  His most exciting racing moment was qualifying for IMCA Supernationals and seeing his daughter win!  He's most proud of over 600 Feature wins.

Steve's racing hero is John Beckett Sr.
