Douglas Crigger drives the #08 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Sandston, VA.  His home track is Langley Speedway.

He started racing in 1996 at Amelia Motor Speedway,  because it was the most thrilling thing in the world.  His first win was in 1997 in the Jr. Sportsman Class at Capital City Speedway and then in 2003 in the Grand Stock Class at Southside Speedway.  Career highlights include Track Championship in Go Karts at Capital City Speedway in 2000, finishing 10th in the Points in 2002, 4th in the Points at Southside Speedway in 2003, and 3rd in the Points in '04 with 6 wins that year.  In Late Models he had 5 Top 10's in his last 6 races and finished 12th in the Points in '06.

The thrill of racing for Douglas is everything!  His most exciting racing moment is any moment where it is close racing, win or not, as long as it is tight and a little paint rubbing.  He's most proud of being able to share it with so many people.

In 2004 Douglas Finished 2nd in the points at Southern Speedway. His 5 wins gave him a great sense of success, as he accomplishes his  dreams and goals in racing.

Douglas's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt, Cal Johnson and Eddie Crouse.
