Eddie started racing in 1976 in the
Street Stock Class at Southside Speedway carrying on a family tradition.
His first win was in '82 in the LMSC Class at Southside Speedway.
Career highlights include 2 Martinsville wins in '86 and '91, 8 Track
Championships - Southside in '85, '96, '98, 2000, '03, Langley Speedway
in '93 and Old Dominion in '87 and '91.
The thrill of racing for Eddie is the
competition and winning. His most exciting racing moment was
Martinsville in '91. He's most proud of his wins and
Championships, especially Langley in '93.
Eddie's racing hero is Denny Hamlin.
Of racing, Eddie says, "It takes a lot
of hard work and determination. You don't have to cheat to win!".
