Eddie Nester drives the #8 Mod 4 Class car.  His home track is Motor Mile Speedway.  He lives in Christiansburg, VA.

Team members helping Eddie are:  Billy Giles, Ashlyn Shrewsbury, John Long and Bobby Nester (car owner).

Eddie started racing in 1988 in the Mini Stock Class at Pulaski County Speedway because it was safer to race on the track instead of the street.  Career highlights include finishing in the top 10 in Points in 2003 after being in a bad accident on his job in 1999 and was thought to never be able to walk again.

The thrill of racing for Eddie is just the thrill of it.  His most exciting racing moment is every week running against the best drivers and cars around.  He's most proud of getting back in a race car after being in a wheel chair.

Of racing, Eddie says, "It's safer than driving on the interstate!".
