Ben Ebeling lives in  Hickory, N.C. His home track is Motor Mile Speedway, but he can also be found racing at Hickory Motor Speedway.

He began racing in 1994 in Go Karts at Fremont Speedway because he was always a fan. Had to start, couldn't sit on the stands side of the fence.  His first win was in 1996 in Go Karts at Fremont Speedway. Career highlights include 2002 7th in LMT Points at Hickory Motor Speedway, 2003 5th in LMT Final Points at Hickory Motor Speedway, 2004 1 Outside Pole at Hickory Motor Speedway and 2 Poles at Motor Mile Speedway.

The thrill of racing is the never ending challenge that it takes to concentrate on things lap and lap. His most exciting racing moment was 2X in 2004, In position to win big races at Hickory Motor Speedway and Motor Mile Speedway, Led 60 Laps only to be wrecked one with 5 laps to go in the lead and the other with 1/2 a lap  to go the lead.

He is most proud of the incredible crew he has around him. They all started  in 2001 as young Rookie and have matured into contenders.

His racing hero is Travis Carter.

Of racing, Ben says, "It's a roller coaster ride like you'll never know unless you start from the bottom and work your way up like most of us. Oh yeah don't do it for the money!"
