He began racing in  1998 in Grand Stock Class at Old Dominion Speedway because of his love for racing. His first win was in 2000 at Old Dominion in Speedway Sportsman. Career highlight includes 2nd in Points in 2001.

The thrill of racing for Les is the speed. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first race. He is most proud of his 7 Feature wins.
