He began racing in 1990 in Mini Stock
Class at Old Dominion Speedway because he builds engines for both drag and
circle track racers. His first win was in 1996 at Old Dominion in Mini
Stock Class. Career highlights include, 1st year in racing -3rd in Points.
In 1996 he was Rookie of the Year and won the Sportsman Shop Award.
The thrills of racing for him are
competitive racing and going fast. His most exciting racing moment was his
first win. He is most proud of helping others and himself with there race
cars, mostly engine work.
His racing hero is Tony Stewart.
