He began racing at the age of 23 at Old Dominion in Late Model as a hobby. Career highlights include, finishing second numerous times. One time to Morgan Shepard at Pulasky.

The thrill of racing for Dave is the need for speed. His most exciting racing moment was when he flipped the one night at Old Dominion. He is most proud of being competitive every night.
