Jack Bailey drives the #2 Late Model Stock
Class car. He lives in Stafford, Va. His home track is Old Dominion
Speedway.
He began racing in 1993 at Old
Dominion in World Karting Association. He went to his first NASCAR race in
Daytona and was enthralled by everything and knew it was what he wanted to
do with his life. His first win was in 1993 in WKA at Harrisburg
Raceway. Career highlights include, 1993-1996 (32 WKA National
wins), (NC and Va Divisional Champion several times). 1997-1998, (6

(3 Late Model Stock wins at Old Dominion), (Top 5 in Points Twice). He
finished in Top 5 for 3 years straight National Series.
The thrills of racing for Jack are racing
side by side, only inches apart from another car. The uncontrollable
situations it puts you in and the demand there is to correctly react to
those situations. His most exciting racing moment was his first Kart win.
He is most proud of the relationships he has formed with his parents
and crew. There is no other sport that has a friendly comradery between
perfect strangers.
His racing hero is Rusty Wallace.
Of racing, Jack says, "If you plan on
racing, and want to succeed, be prepared to totally devote everything you
have for about two hours of excitement. There are more times of pain and
anguish than times of joy and happiness".
His favorite racing website is
www.nascar.com .
