James Lucas drives the #46 Late Model Stock Class car.  He lives in Centreville, MD.  His home track is Old Dominion Speedway.

He started racing in 1975 in the Go Kart Class at Ft. Pierce, Fl. because he watched races as a kid.  The first race he saw was at Dover Downes in 1967.  His first win was in 1998 in the Legends Masters Class at Southside Speedway.  James was Track Champion in the Pure Stock Class at Old Dominion Speedway in 2003.  He had 5 wins and 12 top 3's.

The thrill of racing for James is watching all the cars.  Best seat in the house is behind the wheel.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Track Championship in 2003 by 2 points.  He's most proud of his team.

James's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
