Dave Carter drives the #54 Late Model Stock Class car.  He lives in Lorton, VA. His home track is Old Dominion Speedway but he can also be found racing at South Boston Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the LMSC Class at Old Dominion Speedway because he needed another hobby.  Dave finished 2nd in a 200 lap race. 

The thrill of racing for Dave is the fender slamming, door rubbing action.  His most exciting racing moment was leading 20 laps of a race.  He's most proud of the great crew he has.  They stick by him through thick and thin.

Dave's racing heroes are Dick Trackle, Hut Strickland  and Kyle Petty.

Of racing, Dave says, "You have to love working for nothing and spend hundreds of hours working on the car!".
