Joel Hackett drives the #55 Late Model Stock Class car.  He lives in La Plata, MD.  His home track is Old Dominion Speedway.

He started racing in 2000 in the Street Stock Class at Virginia Motor Speedway because he hopes to advance, making a career out of racing.  Joel has several wins in Motorcross and Go Carts.

The thrill of racing for Joel is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 4th in season fall classic race.  He's most proud of top 10 finish in 200 lap race at Manassas.

Joel's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, Joel says, "It's something that changes your life style as a person, even though it can be extremely expensive and time consuming, it's worth every moment!".
