Mike Southard drives the #5 Late Model Class car.  He lives in Nokesville, VA.  His home track is Old Dominion Speedway but he can also be found racing at South Boston Speedway.

He started racing at Old Dominion Speedway because his father raced.  His first win was in the Speedway Sportsman Class at Old Dominion Speedway.  Mike's career highlight was back to back  wins in the Late Model Stock Class with a brand new car in 2002.

Mike's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt St.
