Wayne Ezzell

Wayne Ezzell drives the #4 Pro 6 Class car.  He lives in Bumpass, VA.  His home track is Southside Speedway.

He started racing in 1975 in the Go Karts Class at Ashland because of the need for speed.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Championships at Ashland, Va, Amelia through late 1980's and into the 1990's. 

The thrill of racing for Wayne is winning!  His most exciting racing moment is winning the Pro Six Series Race at South Hampton Motor Raceway.  He's most proud of being successful and watching his boys go through the ranks also.

Wayne's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Wayne says, "Everyone needs to try it at least once.  It's definitely a thrill!".
