Matt Marshall drives the #18 Modified Class car.  His home track is Virginia Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Potomac Speedway.  He lives in Stuarts Draft, VA.

Team members helping Matt are:  Mike & Shirley Marshall - Mom and Dad, Jeremiah Marshall - brother, Tommy Hoy, Richard Marshall, Derek Hutchinson, Gary Bryant.

Matt started racing in 2001 in the Street Stock Class at East Side Speedway because it's been in his family since the '70's.  Matt's Grandfather and Dad race.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include over 25 wins in Street Stock cars at East Side Speedway including two Street Stock Championships in '04 and '05, also 2 Sportsman Class wins at East Side Speedway, 4 Sportsman Fast Qualifiers in '06, 2 Feature wins in Modified at Virginia Motor Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Matt is winning, working on race cars and seeing them win in races.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win back home at East Side Speedway in Street Stock car and also winning 2 in a row at VMS in Modified Class.  He's most proud of owning his own race car and winning 2 Championships in his cars.

Matt's racing hero is his Dad, Mike Marshall.

Of racing, Matt says, "It's a lot of fun, something I enjoy doing with my family and friends.  All you want to do is win and do more racing!".
