Bret Hamilton drives the #1st Modified
Class car. His home track is Virginia Motor Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Potomac Speedway. He lives in Powhatan,

Bret started racing in 1987 in the Mini
Stock Class at Southside Speedway because he grew up around racing in
Iowa. His first win was that same year. Career highlights
include 5 Asphalt Modified Championships, 4 Dirt Modified Championships,
Thurston Spring Dirt Series Champion in '06, competed at 29 tracks with
wins at 18 of them, 4 wins at Richmond International in Modified Class.
The thrill of racing for Bret is winning
and traveling to new tracks, and seeing others win in a Hamilton
Chassis. His most exciting racing moment was winning at Richmond
International and winning at Dublin Motor Speedway. He's most
proud of seeing Renee Weeks win her first Modified Feature in a Hamilton
Chassis at Virginia Motor Speedway.
