Bruce Wilson drives the #45 Sportsman
Class car. His home track is Virginia Motor Speedway. He
lives in Quinon, VA.
Team members helping Bruce are:
Jessi, Caiti, Jamie, Mom, Robert, Richard, Kenny.
Bruce started racing in '04 in the
Charger Class at Virginia Motor Speedway because his Dad was the '71 VA
Go Kart Champion and he wanted to follow in his footsteps racing
something. Career highlights include 4 years in the Charger Class
at VMS running the #33 Monte Carlo, first year in the Sportsman Division
running same number and color as his Dad, running for Rookie of the
Year.
The thrill of racing for Bruce is it's a
family thing. His most exciting racing moment was several years
ago they raffled a bicycle and a 6 year old boy won. He asked his
Mom to bring him to the pits to meet Bruce and get his picture taken.
That was awesome! He's most proud of watching his wife run 2
seasons and finished 10th in Points each season and beating the boys!
Wow that is cool!
Bruce's racing hero is his Father, Joe.
Of racing, Bruce says, "You have to
remember it's all for fun, spending time with family and friends!".
