Tim Shelton drives the #55 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Virginia Motor Speedway.  He lives in Fredericksburg, VA.

Team members helping Tim are:  Wife - Cindy, Children - Brooke and Hunter, Bob Terry, Kyle Plumstead, Rick Leuppert.

Tim started racing in 1994 in the Enduro Class at Potomac Speedway because it was something he loved speed.  His first win was in '97 in the Charger Class at Mid Bay Raceway.  Career highlights include Championship in Sportsman in '08, Fall Classic wins in '05 and '09 at VMS.

The thrill of racing for Tim is running side by side lap after lap for position.  His most exciting racing moment was coming from the rear to win with a last lap turn 4 pass.   He's most proud of '08 Championship and the Fall Classic wins.

Tim's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Tim says, "Do it for fun.  When it gets to not be fun, either quit or find the fun again!".
