Davis Lipscombe drives the #71 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Virginia Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Potomac Speedway, Natural Bridge Speedway and Clarys Speedway.  He lives in Mechanicsville, VA.

Team members helping Davis are:  Ricky Phelps, Mike Wallace, Johnny Brooks, Ryan Tode and friends and family. 

Davis started racing in '99 in the Bomber Class at Virginia Motor Speedway because he had been around all kinds of racing and had to try it when he turned of age.  His first win was in '01 in the Bomber Class at Virginia Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include 30 career wins, '04 All American Track Champion, '06 Charger Champion, '07 Sportsman Champion, '03 Charger Rookie of the Year, '05 Sportsman Rookie of the Year, '03, '04, '07 Most Popular Driver Award.

The thrill of racing for Davis is the competition and the adrenaline rush!  His most exciting racing moment was winning races and championships, doing well at tracks that he never raced at.  He's most proud of having the respect of other drivers and fans.

Davis's racing hero is Smokey Yanie.
