Layne Meyer

Layne Meyer drives the #21 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Farley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway and Grant County Speedway.  He lives in West Union, IA.

Team members helping Layne are:  Randy Rovang, Dan Oakland and Dennis McElree.  Ed Sanger is the car owner.

He started racing in 1985 in the Hobby Stock Class at West Union for entertainment.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 1995 IMCA National Champion. 

The thrill of racing for Layne is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the National Championship.  He's most proud of winning multiple Track Championships.

Layne's racing hero is Kenny Schrader.

Of racing, Layne says, "Good family sport!".
