Bruce Schmitz drives the #37 Pro Stock
Class car. His home track is Grant County Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Freeport Raceway Park. He lives in Mineral
Point, WI.

He started racing in 1993 in the Hobby
Stock Class at Grant County Speedway for the adrenaline rush. His
first win was in 1998 in the Hobby Stock Class at Lafayette County
Speedway. Career highlights include 1 Feature win in Pro Stock, 5
Feature wins in Hobby Stock, 3rd place in Points two years in a row in
Hobby Stock, and finishing 4th in the Points his first year in Pro
Stock.
The thrill of racing for Bruce is the
adrenaline rush. His most exciting racing moment was racing one of
his best friends clean, door to door, for the win on Championship night.
He's most proud of moving up through the ranks of the local tracks and
being competitive in each class.
Bruce's racing hero is Gary Webb.
