Class car. His home track is Diamond Park Speedway but he can also
be found racing at Batesville Motor Speedway and Thunder Mountain
Speedway. He lives in Kirby, AR.
Team members helping Neil are:
Hollis Edwards, Bill fox, Don Fox, Brad Ewing, Cole Smith, M J Scott.
Lloyd Woodruff is the car owner.
Neil started racing in '05 in the Pure
Stock Class at Diamond Park Speedway and Texarkana Speedway because his
entire family has raced for years and he loved it and still does.
His first win was in '05 in the Pure Stock at 67 Speedway. Career
highlights include 18 wins in '07, over 50 wins total, Track
Championship at Thunder Mountain Speedway in '10 in the Southern Stock
class and '08 Arkansas State Champion.
The thrill of racing for Neil is the
side by side racing with good friends and the speed. His most
exciting racing moment was when he started 15th in the Arkansas State
Championships and his win at Diamond Park Speedway. His first win
in a Modified and competing in the $10,000 to Win Street Stock race.
He's most proud of the way people look up to him because of his
personality and all the friends he's made in racing.
Neil's racing hero is Jimmy Owens.
Of racing, Neil says, "I can't really
tell you about how much money is spent in racing because I have been
lucky enough to never own my own car. I drive for Lloyd Woodruff
and he does what it takes to win. But it sure is fun but takes
lots of hard work!".
